I got my first corn at Christmas and i need more information on looking after them and anything else! I have a really special bond with my corn but i do not know what important things i need to do to keep him healthy, i also do not know what bad signs i need to look out for! :shrugs: I do have a book on corn snakes but i haven't read it all yet! :)

Thank you!

Well first off I recommend reading the book - if you have had it since Christmas you must be doing something right! What don't you know? Has the snake been eating? What do you have in housed in? Also, you should check out the FAQ's pages here - it will give you tons of basic info on taking care of corns! If you have questions don't be afriad to ask though!
A few basic things...
Always have water available
Make sure there is a warm and cool side to your tank
Have a place to hide in the tank
Look for bad health signs - bugs, loose stools, listlessness...

How old is the corn?

some more common Signs of health issues are :

Not shedding completely
breathing with the mouth open
any mucus or bubbles present around the nose or mouth
scales starting to turn brown
swollen areas of the body that are not feeding lumps
very smelly feces
regurging food
laying on its side or back
