Help! Plasma with a Pustule???

Tallulah's Mama
Argh, so I am home sick and decided to play with the snakes a little, I take my male plasma out and find this on him!

Any ideas??? It is raised, about 1-2 mm in diameter, red and yellowish looking. It seems to be under his scale. I took some close-ups. The photos are big but I wanted everyone to be able to see the detail. What is it? Do I need to worry? What should I do? Any help/suggestions appreciated!

I don't know what it is, but it looks like the snake will be shedding soon, so whatever it is is probably stuck under the old skin. Hopefully it will be able to resolve when he sheds.

Looks like a zit. I don't know if snakes can get zits, but I would wait to see what it looks like after he sheds.

To me it looks like an abcess. Is there anything with rough edges in his viv? He may have rubbed just right on something and now has this. I would not wait for a shed, I would take my snake to the vet asap. Could be an odd form of scale rot? At least call a vet in the AM ok?
