Hey, I'm new to this forum and need some advice. I've only owned a ball python previously so this is my first cornsnake.
Basically I got him 2 days ago and he is roughly 1.5ft long. The girl who I got him off told me he is 4 years old! How can he be this small at this age? She told me he eats pinkies/fuzzies once every 2 weeks. So obviously he is severely underfed but even at that, is it possible for him to be 4 years old, he is tiny! The widest part of his body is not much bigger than my little finger. So I fed him two pinkies yesterday and he took them perfectly so I plan to fed him every 5-6 days and soon move him up to fuzzies and so on. But I'm afraid of him bringing them back at if he isn't used to eating so often. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

It would be most helpful to get a weight on him.

I would feed an appropriate-sized prey item every 5-7 days. I would slit the mouse for easier digestion.

Ok i will try though I just fed him yesterday so I will weigh him tomorrow cause I don't want to handle him yet. Thanks so much [emoji4]

Ok, weighed him today though I don't have digital scales so prob not very precise but it was around 55g. And she actually told me he was born in march 2010, so supposedly 4.5years!

 How is his appearance? Can you post pics? I just rescued an adult snow Craigslist, and at 183g she is grossly underweight for her size. (She's also 4 years old, but is nearly 4' long long--she should be closer to 400g.) She has a prominent spine, oversized head, sagging skin, all that.

Your new guy sounds stunted. :( My son's yearling weighed in at 55g the other day, and I feel bad she's not closer to 100g. Geez, a 4yro at that weight?!
