Help with Hatchling!!!

I just fed my creamsicle hatchling one very small pinky. He ate the first night we got him (5 days ago) I feed hatchlings in little paper bags. now I went to feed him. I check like twenty minutes later and i see what looks like dark blood the color of bbq sauce. I thought it was regurgetation (sp) but I didnt find the pinky, what is going on, is my snake in real danger? What should I do?

hmm

Is it blood from the pinkie itself? Sometimes thawed mice have a little bit of a nose bleed. But I have seen a bit more blood than normal on occasion. Probably from the nose of the mouse if your snake if injury free.

Maybe the pinkie popped? Sometimes pinkies burst open and spill blood and guts all over...not pretty  I hope the snake's ok.
