Yeah it looks like a nice little snow, healthy looking as well. You'd be amazed at just how confused some pet shops get, I once had someone offering me an amel cornsnake saying it was a leucistic texas rat snake... :shrugs: :shrugs:
Makes you wonder why/how they're selling pets with no knowledge of what they're selling. Anyway, great little snake and once you've got a single corn you will get another, it's just part of the process :santa:

ive just popped it and it turns out he's a he after all......btw what should he be eating by now he's on 1 pinky a week atm but dont know if he should be on more. He eats every time but i never know if he should have more
 
Lovely snow!

I'm a bit concerned that it is your first snake and you alaready popped it yourself.... that is not something to take light in practising.... or did I miss something?
 
not me personally the breeder who sold it to the pet shop . . .. finally managed to track the guy down and he did it for me cause he could'nt remember what he sold to the pet store
 
sorry i should have explained it better . . . .i was a bit bemused to find the guy was only 17 though, apparently he has bred for quite a while now? wont be having any more off him though cause i saw the state of his place and if he hasnt got records of what he's selling to whom how am i supposed to know for sure?
 
I dont know much but I can see that your snake is bigger than mine and mine is on two pinkies a week....
 
gonna try upping him to 2 pinkies next feed day so i will let you know how we get on, is there any special way of doing this?
 
Nice snow you have there. Be careful it is addicting. Five months ago I got my first snake and now I have 15 (lol). It is a very nice looking snow though, good luck and keep us updated on its growth!
 
1.5 times the widest part of his body. If feeding multiple items, the combined width of prey should be EQUAL to 1.5 times the widest part of the snake....
