Im new to snakes and the woman that we got Sid off of told us that he is a mexican corn but we think he is an aztec corn. Anybody any ideas? :)

Hes a nice normal corn :) If he was an aztec his pattern would be very "strange" or abstract, thats the only way to describe it.

Like I said before - theres no corn variant (that I know of) called mexican.

I have no idea what "Mexican Corn" is, but Aztec refers to a specific pattern where instead of having regular saddles or bands the pattern is broken. It's a pattern, not a color. All I can see of Sid's back is normally patterned, and his color is normal as well. But he is beautiful- great find! I especially like the amount of yellow he has on his neck.

Welcome.
Looks like a very nice normal. Very RED!!!

And the only time I've ever heard the term "Mexican Corn" was in reference to Mexican Night Snakes because of their similarities in looks (somewhat), temperament, and care requirements.
