The last Masters 1000 of the season is coming to an end. The ATP Rolex Paris Masters 2024 will crown its new champion this upcoming Sunday, November 3. The favorite to take home the trophy is Alexander Zverev, who comes into this event having dropped only one set along the way. The world number 3 has been showing great improvement, although his focus is more on the future. Sascha will face Ugo Humbert.

Alexander Zverev advanced to the summit clash in the French capital for the second time in career by defeating former champion Holger Rune 6-3, 7-6 (4) on Saturday. Initially, the world No.3 was failing to serve out the match at 5-4 in the second set, but Zverev withstood a late fightback from Rune to secure the victory.
Ugo Humbert beat Carlos Alcaraz in the third round and will continue to have plenty of support in Paris. Alexander Zverev beat the Frenchman in 3 sets in this event last year with a repeat performance on the cards.
Alexander Zverev is 65-20 this year, reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open, Los Cabos Open and Miami Masters. He improved on clay, winning the Rome Masters and reaching the French Open final.
The German lost another final in Hamburg but was unable to get to a final in five events on hard courts. He went closest at the Cincinnati Masters where he lost to Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals.
The 27-year-old beat Tallon Griekspoor 7-6 6-3 in his opening match in Paris. He then got past the in-form Arthur Fils 6-4 3-6 6-3 before beating Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-5 6-4 in the quarter-finals, winning 72% of his 2nd serves and saving one break point.
Zverev was too good for Holger Rune in the semi-finals, getting through 6-3 7-6 after winning 59% of his 2nd serves and saving 2/3 break points.
Ugo Humbert is 39-23 this year, winning titles in Marseille and Dubai. He was average on clay and grass, a semi-final appearance in s’Hertogenbosch his best performance on slow courts.
The 26-year-old didn’t see any improvement on hard courts before reaching the final in Tokyo, going down in 3 sets to Arthur Fils. He suffered early exits in Shanghai and Basel.
The Frenchman beat Brandon Nakashima 6-3 4-6 6-4 in his opening match in Paris. He thrashed Marcos Giron 6-3 6-2 in 59 minutes and shocked World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz 6-1 3-6 7-5 in the third round.
Humbert maintained his form by taking out Jordan Thompson 6-2 7-6 in the quarter-finals. He came back to beat Karen Khachanov 6-7 6-4 6-3 in the semi-finals, winning 55% of his 2nd serves and saving 2/4 break points.
