He's finally here!!!

I can't get over how stunning he is out of the box! He is gorgeous and will only get better He is incredibly sweet already and I can't wait to handle him more! He is currently settling in to his new home...going to be so hard to be hands off for a week lol...hard to capture his belly, it's a pinkish/reddish/orangish color...

BTW, have you thought of a name yet? I know it's kinda soon. I usually wait till I see what they act like before naming them, though appearances sometimes take over that process.

Lord no lol...that's always the hardest part for me, I'm terrible with names. I really like all of the 'X' down his back...He's been super curious and when I had him out he was very sweet...very slow tongue flicking, not flighty, didn't try to bite at all. I keep peeking in on him just to make sure he's doing ok and I found him settled ontop of his little tree lol

Thanks! Me too I sent his breeder a check in email earlier and said if it was possible to be "in love" with a snake, I definitely was with him lol. I can't wait to hang out with him more

Wow! You just made me realize how STUPID I sound when talking to ANY of my pets, including my two little pussies! If I thought anyone actually HEARD me, I'd probably die from embarrassment! (Why is it that it's OK for females to talk this way but if a guy does it, I automatically assume he's slightly effeminate? Not saying this is BAD in any way, just sayin'. It's an observation). :eek1:

LOL on the "Snake Voice" I talk to Rufus the same way and I know he can hear me.

I've always loved the dark blue and black tongues of Boas. I had a female named Eve that reached 11 feet, and her tongue was about 3 inches long. She was quite the "Tickler"
