He's Here!!!

CopperCornsnake

To me, 'normal' is weird
:dancer: :spinner:  :) My new cornsnake is here!! He's a three year old Key's corn. I'd say he's 4 1/2 feet long, and he is SOO pretty! :crazy02: He's an orangy yellowish color with a bit darker spots on his back that fade out towards the end of him. I bought him from South Mountain Reptiles ( http://www.cornsnake.NET ) in Canyon Lake, TX, Which is close to Austin.

I was at school when he came ( but I came home at 11:30 since the vet was coming to give my horse her vaccinations). The box doesn't say "Reptile" anywhere on it just South Mountain, and the FedEx guy walked into my dad's shop (auto) with the box against his chest. My dad told him that if he knew what was in it he would be holding it as far away as possible. So the FedEx guy asks what's in it and right after dad said 'snake' the guy's cell phone rang. The guy jumped up in the air like a copperhead had bit 'im! :sidestep:

My usual Fed Ex driver knows I get snakes and he's pretty careful about handling them. He doesn't like them, but he does his job well.

One of the FedEx guys actually threw the box at me. I couldn't tell if he was in a hurry or scared.
