Hello there! I found this site via Google because I hungered for some snake-talk, and here it is.
I own a normal morph corn snake, currently named Benji, and the sex is still undetermined. The pet store I got him from used the tail method (the length of the tail), which I've heard is an unreliable way of sexing corns, and he is, right now, a male. I also don't exactly know how old he is, because I didn't think to ask when I got him. They were still feeding him pinkies at the time, so he was maybe a few months?
Anyway, here's a few recent pictures of him. He's grown quite a bit since I got him back in January.

I'm not planning on owning 2 snakes anytime soon, but I must say I'd love to own an Aztec morph some day.

Very nice normal/classic you got there. It might be a photo illusion, but the tails looks femalish to me.

What makes me think that is how it goes from thick to thin, suddenly. From my little experience, males usually have a long taper.

I've tried to find pictures of male - female side-by-side tail comparisons so I could get a better idea of what Benji really is. I've even decided on a female name for him since I'm still entirely unsure of his sex. I'm too afraid to pop him myself since he's my first snake and I really don't want to hurt him.

Welcome to the group.

:laugh01:

Well... welcome to the group.

Well I did say "not planning," so it may happen anyway. >.>
But our house is so small right now I'll probably have to wait until after we move before trying to get any more animals. I really love Aztecs.

The best laid plans of mice and men oft times go astray. Don't be surprised when you've got ten and are seriously looking at another. And another. And a pair. And .....

I think the name Benji is good for a girl or boy (this comes from the person who likes masculine female names). Welcome to the forums!

Stupid question but how do u make a new post i cant figure this out

There's a blue button that says "New Thread". Just click it and start your post!

Cute baby you have!! I agree with everyone else. I know you're not planning on having another, but they're kind of like Pringles. Once you pop, you can't stop!!

Snakes really are the best pets, and I would like to start a wager that within the next 2 months you'll have a new edition to post here on cs.com!!

PS - We are not a support group, we are a group of enablers :D :D

Welcome from a fellow Canadian!

That's what I said too... Now I am planning to breed for my first time in two more years lol.
