Introducing myself :)

I just got a baby corn, named Snek after the "snek stahp" meme that I giggle at every time. I had corn snakes and garter snakes growing up, but not in years. As it turns out, everything we used to do was the wrong way -- basking lamps, heat rocks, and sticker thermometers  But that was before the internet when all we had was uneducated big-box pet store employees who just wanted to sell you stuff!

My fiance and I live in New Jersey, and we are also home to Poof and Mookie, sister kitties 8 years old, and Brak, the 1ish year old bearded dragon... who I know is way higher maintenance than Snek, even if it IS more involved than I knew as a kid.

Hello and welcome!
Ah, the good old days of pet store employee gained knowledge and almost never being able to find actual books on the "rare" pets, i. e. anything not cat or dog! How I do not miss them!
Great looking duo you've got there!

Love the pics! Your beardie is so adorable (I want one so bad!).
Love the name Snek. Welcome!
