Hey everyone I just joined a little bit ago. I live in AZ and just purchased my second corn. My first was a snow corn and unfortunately I couldn't keep him due to some bad circumstances. Now I have a bloodred that I just got on Tuesday. I ordered him from South Mountain Reptiles and I think he is beautiful. I don't have any pictures yet because every time I have tried to take a few he starts moving and my camera is crap. I do have a video of his first feeding, which was earlier today that I posted on youtube if any one wants to see him. It is still really bad quality, but it works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9G08HAx4hA
Anyways I am hoping to get any information that I may need in the future from here and maybe answering a few questions myself.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm hoping that he just wasn't quite as hungry today because I only waited two days to feed him. After he crawled out of the plastic thing and I picked him up as soon as his head was right by the pinkie he went at it right away. It could just have to do with him being a little stressed still too.

Two days may be a little soon to feed him, he should eat every 4-5 days. You got him Tues did you feed him Tues and then again today. If he is stressed the handling and feeding will not help. When you get a hatchling you should not handle it for 4-5 days giving it a chance to settle in. After eating a snake should not be handled for 48 hours.

No I didn't feed him Tuesday I just did today. The only time that I have handled him is earlier today right before feeding to get him in their. I know not to handle for 2 days after feeding, but thanks. I only say he may be stressed because he is constantly climbing up the glass to try to get out and he is a little skiddish when the couple of people that have looked at him get close to the tank. My old one only did that when I first got him. So I am just guessing/assuming.
