So, on sunday, I just bought my first snake. Ive had many different kinds of reptiles and amphibians before, but never a snake. I bought a baby corn snake. They said it was albino, but im learning now that it means snow? am i right about that or is it an albino. Anyway, im very glad I found a good forum, I make it a habit of joining a forum for every new animal i get, and have found very few good ones out there except for my Red Eared Slider forum. This one seems to be pretty well run. Im glad i found you guys. Anyway, I have yet to name my corn yet, but we will see. Hello to you all!

Hey,
Welcome :)
A picture would be a great way to tell what your snake is, a picture is always nice anyways!

Hello and Welcome to the Forums! When pet stores label the cornsnakes as "albino", the snakes are usually amel (amelanistic). These corns have different shades of red and white. Snow corns are pretty much all white.

actually, I almost went out and got another corn. But then i decided im going to save for a bit and get a boa instead. because you know, i dont already have enough animals...

Hi, Justin? Welcome to the forum. You're right, good people here. They will try to make you want more snakes, but that seems to happen normally.

yes it is justin. and thats ok if they make me want more snakes. I already have an unhealthy addiction to pets, so might as well add some more corn snakes in the mix

you should get soem pictures posted! so we can help out. or go to the photo page and compare. snow and albino are kinda different.

Welcome aboard...beware..I started with 1 corn a year ago...I now have 3 corns, a cali. king snake and a uromastyx..lol..
