HI

I'm new here and from Australia. I've had my corn snake for about 10 months and my kids love him.

In the clod weather he lives stays in a small 60cmx60cm tank in the house but when the weather is right he goes outside into his massive outdoor tank which is 180cmWx75cmDx80cmH which also as a very large pool inside it.

I built this myself and I'm working on a background for it with a waterfall features.

I am looking at getting a second snake which will be in the same outdoor tank.

I will post images to show.

Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum. Please do post pics we love pics on here, About the snakes being on the outside cage together IMHO that's not a good idea. Unless you can have them separated with a divider or something but housing 2 snakes together is basically setting your self up for failure..

This is why I came looking for help/a forum as I wasn't sure about that aspect. I do understand snakes like to be alone and if that is the case then so be it.

This is a pic of my snake in his water pool in the outdoor tank. He spends a lot of time in it.

The pool is cleaned using a fish filter which pumps 400lt an hour. It's very easy to empty when I clean it out completely as the pump takes the water out for my as well.

He's been out side all summer and roams the tank pretty much all day every day spend much of his time in the pool.

As I've had aquariums for years it made doing this very easy for me.

Thanks for your response

Cheers
