Hi everyone!

Greetings! Just wanted to post and say hi. I'm a fairly new member, first-time snake owner.

Joined somewhere around two months ago, and I've taken great advantage of all the knowledge and experience presented on the forum. Really got to know my stuff from so many of you before our new arrival. I must have read literally thousands of posts to-date, and it's really gone a long way to making a proper start for my wife and I and our new buddy! The forum is just fantastic. Thank you!

We have a Buckskin Okeetee male who is almost 8 months old now. We got him from Don at SMR about 3 weeks ago. Let me say (preaching to the choir, I realize) that it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Don. We had numerous delays for shipping due to the extreme cold, snow, etc., and Don was great in keeping an eye out and keeping us informed. As busy as he must be, he has always been readily available to communicate and share info. Sent us an absolutely adorable little guy! :)

So, nice to post and say hi to you.

Pics to follow ;)

Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Looking forward to those pictures. I have heard SO many good things about Don.

:)

Here goes.. Darn Photobucket undoes whatever editing I do on my iPhone (cropping, red-eye removal), so I did manage to re-crop as needed. The "redeyes" (I guess not red in our snakes) make him look like a demon-hateling :dgrin:, but no way.. he's a total sweetheart.

Viv setup, 20L. Thermometer now sits outside the tank. Want to add more foliage.
