Well, since I have been on this forum almost daily (it is addictive isn't it...), I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Jennifer, I live in Western KY. 22 yrs old, 5'7", got a boyfriend, horse crazy since I was born, snake crazy since I could explore the creek beside my house... I am half-way through my BA in Biology. Then it is off to vet school. My specialization will be Equine reproduction, though I am leaning toward herpetology as well. What a combo that would be... Jennifer

Welcome to the site !!

I noticed you were from KY , I was born there many years ago ( 33 to be exact) . But left there when my parents divorced when I was five, now I live in SC. My dad lives in a small town called Springfield ( Washinton county) .
Have you ever heard of that town ?

Hope you enjoy the site.

Fellow W. Kentucky resident

I'm also living in Western Kentucky, Paducah to be exact.

My name is Lacey, and i am new as well. I love corn snakes, but my lease doesn't allow anything but fish. If they did, i'd have one of everything!! Just looking for information.

How observant is your apartment manager? :noevil: Our lease doesn't allow anything except aquaria of less than 10 gallons and/or one cat. But I have a snake, a millipede, and a crab; my roommate has two turtles and her girlfriend's dog lives with us about half the time. Our across-the-hall neighbors have a 75-gallon aquarium, two cats, a huge rat, and something else I've forgotten. My manager is so old he doesn't notice anything, even when he's actually in our apartment.

What he doesn't know won't hurt him. Unless my snake eats his cat. Then it's eviction city. :p

Thanks to all for the welcome! Fellow KY-ians, its a small world isn't it :crazy02: . I'm glad to know there are snake people around.
