Reboot? What's that?
Hi Folks. I guess I'm something of a lurker until now. Read the great things everyone has to say. Got a LOT of info. This site (and all of you) has helped my wife and I with the care of our two snakes, Maize and Curly.
My wife bought a Florida (Brooksi) King and I wanted a Brazilian Rainbow Boa. Oh man I wanted one of those guys. After looking at the care sheets from numerous sites and talking to a few folks at the shows, I thought it best to start off with an Abbott Okeetee instead. Her coloring is fantastic and she is a little easier to care for due to my just starting off with snakes. In a year or so perhaps I'll get the Rainbow. I think it was best to start off slow and work my way up to an animal that needs a bit more care (humidity concerns for example).
With that in mind, I've gone to a number of local shows (Tampa, Bradenton) and also ventured off to Orlando and the Daytona show. Now the list of reptiles I want is growing. I guess you really can't have just one <grin>.
So if I may I'd like to show you our two snakes and for grins one of our dogs. The dog picture is a "Where's Waldo" type of picture. Ha... ok, maybe not but I thought it was funny.
