Hi there...

Been a snake owner for about a month now and I love it. I had to get one because my boy got one back around February but he'd never let me play with it. Been around critters my whole life; chickens, ducks, dogs, hamsters, fish, hermit crab, even a raccoon for a brief time. Only experience with reptiles was a small anole when I was a kid and it wouldn't eat and eventually died.

This snake stuff is fascinating; only one working lung, no diaphram, can move their heart out of the way of food! No eyelids! But they're so cute! Anyway, I posted pics of Zia at http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/album.php?u=22491
