Hi there, not sure where i should post this.
I'm Tim, just got my first corn on friday. He/she is alittle striped normal (pics in the gallery). I'm not sure of the age, i'm sure its maybe 2 months. I've been reading up on corn snakes for quite awhile now, but am still far from knowing everything there is. Anyways, just thought I'd say hi, and I'll be poking around asking questions and trying to learn alot.

ps. its taking down its first meal now (in a dixie cup).

Hi there and Welcome Tim!!!

Congrats on your first corn snake. I know for sure that you'll be loving it a lot!!

I have had my frist snake when I was around 6 and now I am 21...which means 15 years of snake experience....and guess what....I too am like you....learning about them every single day....
There is a good book for you to look at which will help you a lot....
it's called the "Corn Snake Manuel" by Bill and Kathy love (one of the top corn snakes breeder in the US.
Go to http://www.corn-utopia.com and find out more about the book there!

Other than the book, make sure that you come to this site a lot so that you can learn tons of things here! People are most often very friendly here and helpful. We share our experience and thoughts here all the time!!

If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!!!

Thanks for the welcome:)
I guess I'll write alittle bio about myself here.
I'm 20, and I am the Asst. Manager at alittle petstore in Winnipeg MB. I keep mostly fish but has slowly begun to move into herps. Thats all i can think of at the moment.

I haven't gotten the book yet, but have read it (at one of my petstores)
I've been to corn utopia drooling at the pics of awhile now, I love all of the morphs. My fav is the one
But rest assured I'll be posting fairly often :D

Hi Tim !

Welcome! You'll love this site. Everyone here will help you along the way to the best of their ability. If you love drooling over Kathy's corns, have you visited Rich's site yet and checked out his photo gallery? If not, make sure you have plenty of paper towels handy! LOL! Just go to www.SerpenCo.com.

Welcome - I'm a newbie too and seem to spend faaaaaar too long looking at this site.

Dammit - I should even be working now ;)

Thanks everyone

I think I've visited next to every cornsnake page out there. I've even spent time poking around the old messege board before it got moved here.

I hope I can learn as much as I can, because it seems as though my mom wants to breed my little guy as soon as he/she is ready (to think she didn't even want me to have a snake :p )
