Hey all! Since life wont allow me to get a corn snake for another year, thought I'd share some pictures I've taken over the years in Humboldt County.

Since I lack any program (besides paint) to resize pictures, I copped out and created an imgur album, and there's a link below.

The first picture is in Fern Canyon. Any Jurassic Park fans may recognize it as where they shot a scene in the sequel (when the guy gets eaten by all those tiny dinos)

I threw in a picture of Elk on the beach (they're everywhere around here, but this is the only time I saw them on a beach!). Of course a snake picture, assuming that little guy is a Garter snake? A cool looking lizard (no clue what that is).

The dog is Cassie (her first time on the beach..sand EVERYWHERE). And of course the Redwoods.

That super random picture is of the Kinetic Sculpture race. We do it every year here in Arcata. People create crazy sculptures and race them for a few days, they even go through the bay. This one isn't the coolest sculpture by any means, but the picture had awesome timing.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy!

The canyon and redwoods are beautiful! I plan on moving to the Pacific Northwest (near Olympia WA) when I finish college, we vacationed there in sixth grade and haven't stopped thinking about it ever since (four years later)!
