I have a half moon bark hide box. One on the cool side and one on the warm side. I was wondering how and if I should clean them or just throw them out and get some new ones. Also if I do clean them how long should I keep them until I do buy new ones? Thanks for the info.

I have found many snakes in the wild hiding under flat boards or board leaning against a wall. It is my opinion that snakes feel less stress if they have something closer to their bodies than the half moon logs many use; however, this is just my opinion.
