Hideous Eggs

Kat

I'm talkin' to YOU.
My super-skinny caramel decided to leave a few presents for me as an attempt at a second clutch. This is the result. :puke01:

Amazingly enough, candling seems to show veins.

Sometimes its really hard to tell what will and won't hatch. My 2nd clutch (without reintroduction of the male) included 16 eggs. All but 6 were obviously slugs. I really thought those 6 eggs were going to be fine. They were really nice looking. Now at 3 weeks, all have softened and started to collapse except 1. That one egg has some lovely veining in it, so I hope momma's efforts weren't totally wasted.

Good luck with your eggs. It will be really interesting to see what happens.

They look like half sucked, oblong, jawbreakers . . . I bet the first pip shows up at 61 days . . .
