Hi Guys,

My little female Abbotts Okeetee shed her skin today but had left a little bit of the old skin on her tail.

I took her out to fix the problem.

As you can see, she was not amused!

Bye for now,

HAHAH Jim I told you she was nuts! Shes looking fabulous. I want first dibs on her babies!

Hows the wee amel abbots? Update please :D

Hi Guys,

She certainly has attitude with a capital 'A'!

When she strikes, she jumps forward and coils up again ready for the next strike.

I've never seen a hatchling Corn with such an attitude. If you look closely at the pic below you will see that she actually flattens her head like a Western Hognose.

However, once she's picked up she's fine as long as you don't move anything in front of her!

When she feeds she tags the pinkie at least twice before grabbing it, she's BAD! lol

Elle, the Amel Abbotts is doing great, she never misses a feed.

I'll take some pics of her tomorrow and post them up.

Bye for now,

Jim

I thought she would have grown out of it by now! The first thing she did was bite me when I unpacked her... and that was when she was cold. You don't want to know what happened when she warmed up LOL

Gotta love the 'tude! With luck, that lovely will calm down with age. However, every once in awhile, you get a glimpse of that 'tude in an older snake. And you know they're at their most hissed when you see that nice flair along the edge of the belly!

And sorry for the high-jack. I couldn't resist...and both of these girls tagged me royally when I had to get them.
