secretly normal
A friend of mine sent me a message a while ago. His class had a project where everyone had to make a 1 minute video on any topic, and his friend wanted to film a snake eating. I told him that I figured it would be fun, and double checked that they had no high expectations of the super-entertaining live feeding (because that was not happening), and we were good to go.
Of course, he wanted to film my biggest snake. Who is probably the WORST choice, being a shy eater. I told them as much, and the filming went like this:
Me: *Feeds Moss*
Moss: *looks uncomfortably at all of us for about 15 minutes, refusing to eat under such pressure.*
Moss: "Leave me alooooone already this is so stressful"
me: *pokes food* "eat it".
Moss: "NOOOOO" *squeezes harder*
Rat: *blood sploosh*
Me: "That, uh...that normally doesn't happen"
Made for good footage, I guess. We ended up all having to leave the room to see if he would eat in solitude, and hope he stayed on-camera. It worked out pretty good, and the editing job is perfect.
I just hope the link works:
