Hi everyone! I was recently introduced to my sister's roommate's cornsnake "Frank the Tank the Snake", and have genuinely become hooked! Have been doing research on corn snakes as pets for about a month now and have stumbled across your forums. Also, I picked up a 10gal aquarium with a heat lamp and a few extra goodies for free via Craigslist! I am hoping to find a new little friend at the All Cleveland reptile show & sale Link on December 21st... Hopefully before then I can get some questions answered here and be fully prepared by that time! See you around!

You'll have to look for Dave. He's in the row across from RodentPro all the way down the other end, can't miss him, loooooong hair and loooooong beard. He's a great guy to deal with and has quality animals.

Welcome to the forum.:wavey:

Hello and welcome. :wavey:

Cleveland has a good show. That is were I do most of my selling. What morph are you looking for?

Welcome! Its always good to have more Ohioans on the forum. I have heard good things about the Cleveland show but haven't made it over there yet. You'll have to let us know how it goes...

Haha as if I can't wait enough for the show, this thread is making me incredibly excited!

Reptile Jones: I'm not going to be picky about the morph. As of right now, I'm in my last year of college and have no plans to breed. Ideally, I'm looking for a baby...maybe amel of some sort, a butter, creamsicle, reverse okeetee, or something else eye catching. They're all beautiful looking animals!

OH NOOOOOOOO another person from OHIOOOOOOOOOO........
Just kidding I'm from the Buckeye state also ( hence my hobbyist name).Don't you just love our three seasons here Fall ( cold, wet, gray), Winter ( colder, wetter, grayer) and Orange Barrel ( I think we top out at 75 deg. F.) heh heh, Actually I've lived in Florida, Texas and Colorado and I'll tell you one thing you CAN NOT beat the beauty of Ohio in the fall! What part are you from? The Cleveland show is great and there is a new one in Akron on the 27th as well. WELCOME!
ps) you might want to consider a UTH ( under the tank heater) they're better for digestion etc.. and the heat bulbs are too dry for corns. Look around here there is a wealth of info. all for free and awesome people!

Thanks for the greeting ForkedTung! I certainly plan on getting a UTH for half my tank. I will have the light just for the purpose of basking... we all need a little sunshine right?

Well, to be honest I am just going to see which snake catches my fancy. I like highly patterned snakes with a lot of contrast soo... reverse okeetees, candycanes, amels etc. Yeah, it has already become an addiction haha!
