Homemade hide!

Just wanted to brag a bit. I'm much happier with the way this one came out.
You can see my first attempt here

I used a cereal bowl covered in wax paper as a mold, and there you go!

Now I just need to convert my turtle terrarium with an open side into a sealed ball-python-safe viv!

Nice! Homemade is always rewarding. In a pinch, I've used cereal boxes and even flat pieces of styrofoam for my corns! They don't seem to care as long as they have a place to duck under. But your is both permanent and attractive, kudos!

You always appreciate the homemade things more. And if you decide to junk it and make a better one - it didn't really cost you too much :) Store hides can run you way too much $$

Nice! I make a lot of my snakes' hides out of polymer clay, I know they don't care, but I like when they have nice lookin' hides. :)
