Hookworms on corns

Hi guys. Im taking a veterenary technician course and i just did a fecal float on tiko my anery motley het hypo and I found a hookworm egg and then we did a hematest and it was positive for blood. wich means that my corn has hookworms and the rest of the gang probably does too. Does anyone here have any experience with these? and anyone know if mice's hookworms can be transfered to snakes? or if snakes have there own hookworms?. Im contacting a vet to make shure but asking here as well just to see. I was supposed to get a pair of grey bands but all my snake buying is being put on hold untill i can get rid of the buggers.
