Hot Dog, My First Escape!

R.W.

Call me Richard
Well, it finally happened.
After ten years of herp keeping, it finally happened.
Not quite sure how he (or she, I need to check) got out, but right now I have a young, aprox. 2ft. long ball python loose in my house.
I suspect the cats had something to do with this, but how they got to the snakes I'll never know.

I've taken all the necessary measures, heat pad, water bowl, etc. Now I just have to wait and hope he/she turns up. I suspect its hiding under my bed, but seeing as the matress fits into a solid frame, well, it will be quite difficult to check there, I'll have to do it tomorrow.

The shame is, it was just out of quarantine and I was actually going to move it into a rack when I discovered it missing.:twohammer

Wish me luck...:awcrap:

I had a pip get loose once. I searched the house from top to bottom, set out traps and everything. Finally after giving up for the night, I decided that I would just clean the tub and hope for the best. I pulled the tub all the way out and the little bugger was coiled up behind it.:headbang:

Good luck finding the BP,

Wayne

Ball Pythons almost never go far. Search high and low, and listen for stuff falling over in the middle of the night as she prowls.
