House being sprayed for bugs?

I recently moved into a new house. After moving in we found that the house already had some nasty little residents, roaches. Tomorrow my house is being sprayed for the roaches. I have been too busy to talk to the pest people myself, but I had my girlfriend ask about my 2 corn snakes well being in regards to being in the house during spraying. The guy told her he wasn't really sure, be he said we should probably cover them with a sheet. So she called two local pet stores and one said they should be fine if covered as long as it wasn't a bug bomb, the other store said we should get them out of the house. So I'm unsure of what precautions I should take to protect them. That brings me here seeking advice from the numerous wise members here. Any advice or experience would be very helpful and appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

exterminators typaically spray the baseboards and around window and doors. its liquid spray not gas. my guess is they'll be fine. just tell the guy not to spray the viv.
