Housing?

I'm curious to see what kind of housing everyone has for their snakes. The bug guys and the little guys. From tanks to racks to whatever. Let's get some pics up! :)

The first pic is Deuce's first viv I made. The second pic is the display I intend to build in the near future.

Whoo! That first one is what I have been wanting to make but don't know how. Any chance you could put a step by step thing up so I can make one also?

Nicole,

Unfortunately I didn't keep any record of making it. Pretty much just dreamed it up as I went along. It is basically a poplar frame lined with 1/4" lexan(plexiglass). I used window type latches because they tighten as they close to keep things tight. I counter sunk 1/2" wood screws from the inside to hold the lexan in place and siliconed the joints and sunken screw heads. It has opening doors on front like a lizard habitat and also the top opens. The top is black coated aluminum screen from Lowes framed in from the bottom of lid so no sharp edges are exposed. And my son painted the frame black anywhere wood is exposed.
