Hi all,

I'm new to snake. Got two snakes. How do you guys measure them??? I find it almost impossible to measure them. What I do is to measure the snake skin after it shed....

I know this might not be accurate. For example, 3 weeks ago when my amel shed, it was 3' 6" and today she just shed and I measure 4'.....

I don't think she can grow 6 inches within 3 weeks.....

I prefer to use a gram scale. You can get them pretty cheap ($10) online. It also helps when deciding to move up a prey size or not.

That's a great little app! I found it a few years ago after I got my snake. I've used it to measure many things other than my snake. I didn't know it was well known, makes sense that all the snakey people would find it.
