How can I get a butter striped motley

Buy one?

If you find two snakes, male and female, het or homo for amel, caramel, and motley/stripe then you have to wait for them to grow up, so you can breed. If you just buy a butter motley/stripe pair, then you can enjoy them before they are old enough to breed. That and, you may decide you don't like butters anymore three years down the road, so you could breed each one to an amel mot, or caramel stripe, or something else.

Thanks guys, I think I will just try to get one by breeding because I don't trust online orders.

oh there are some really good people here that are online orders. So trust us when we say that you can buy one. Rich Z the owner of this site is one of the top breeders of corns in the industry. He is very trust worthy. And to actually to breed what you want to get what you want, you may still need to order those snakes.

To be honest mate I would trust a breeder more
than a shop.Breeders usually only specialize in a few or one
species and know it very well.I had snakes shipped over
last year to Ireland from Rich and they were 100%.

If u don't order those snakes the chances of finding one spesific morph is extremly slim petstores don't cary different morphs and if they do its very rarely they also get their snakes from breeders bt pet stores have no or very little knowlege about them finding wat u want would be easier by ordering from a trusted breeder like Rich Z or any other in this sight.

So wat isn't to trust if this people know their stuff

Well online ordering sometimes turns out bad..but not always. I haven't purchased a snake online, but my best friend ordered hers off of a online breeder and it was perfectly fine.

I have ordered 10 snakes online (I only have nine now thanks to the cat) but everything went as it should. I paid, a few days later fedex brought me my snakes in perfect health. There are MANY members of this site that are trustworthy to buy from. I've bought all of my snakes from members here, and they're great. You would have to hunt for a LONG time to get the pair of snakes het or homo for the traits you're looking for, if you ever even found them. Then it would take many many years of test breeding, and breeding back for you to end up with the result you're looking for. Snakes you purchase at a petshop may not have the hets you want. Most of the time the shop doesn't know what they sell, they know it's a normal. "Any hets?" you ask, the petshop employee comes back at you with "Huh? What's that?" Ordering online is a safer bet in my opinion, you have a qualified experienced breeder (most of the time), who knows what they're doing, they can give you pictures and background on the parents, they can give you a list of hets or possible hets, and you have a better chance of getting what you want.

Although I do take your feedback into consideration there still is the mystery of what breeder is selling them.

I do trust places like cornsnakes.net but not breeder to breeder deals.

You can buy direct from the breeder, online, and trust to their reputation. If you trawl around the various online communities, you'll very quickly pick up on any cowboys.

Also, if their adults are registered on the American Corn Snake Registry, that's about as cast-iron a guarantee as you'll get.

I can also vouch for Corns bred by Rich Z (Serpenco links from this board). he breeds his own and the three that he shipped to the UK for me last summer, are eating like horses!
