Ultra Lavenders? Is anybody working on these?

I would like to get a lav. male some time in the next 2 years. The two females I have to match up with him would be my snow het. Lav, and my sunglow motley with unknown hets. I was thinking of possibly getting some fluorescents from Rich to mix with lavs, just for the fun of it. Wonder what an Ultramel fluorescent would look like? Less bright or more bright? Then add lavender...mmmmm.....

I was thinking ultra would be a nice complement to the amel in the snow and the mot girl, with a possibility of producing ultramel lav motleys in the future. Ultramel opals anyone? What would that be? A fire opal? :)

Anyway, does anybody have animals capable of producing that color of male in the works? I'd settle for a lav het ultra, lav homo ultra, or ultramel lav. What are the chances of finding one for sale?

I imagine they are pretty rare. I have a pair of 04 hatchlings that are the result of an Ultramel Motley crossed with a Lavendar. Only test breeding will show if they are actually het Ultra or Amel. The male may be big enough to breed next year, and if so I'll breed him to a Normal female that is het Hypo, Lav, Amel, and Stripe. That should let me know which one he is het for and still give me a chance of hatching out something neato. I am sure there are others out there that are ahead of me though!
