Smell

In fact just yesterday I went into one of my most docile snake's cage and it head bumped me pretty good. Couldn't figure out why until I realized I had just finished cleaning out a couple of mouse cages. While I hadn't handled any of the mice or bedding, there was still some residual odor on my hands from it!

I have had some miss the mouse and get my hand before, so it's a good idea to use a tongs or hemostat when feeding.

Bonjour! Bienvenu!! Je crois que votre anglais est bon. Excusez mon français! :)

I think it just has to do with their instincts and their innate desire to eat what they would in the wild. Some baby corns will attack hands before they become comfortable with their new owner so it is good that yours feels safe with you.

Thanks to reply fast.. no your french is good!

YEs i have used hemostat to feed her. Now tel me how many time i have to wait before handling her? 1 day or more?

Do i can hande her regulary like each day or 2?

It's usually recommended to wait 48 hours within feeding before handling. I'd wait until the meal 'lump' is gone. Also, be warned that anywhere from 3-7 days after eating they generally poo. Nice surprise when your holding them!!

Depending on your feeding cycle you can handle them as much as they, and you, can tolerate.
