i was wondering...
when you post, on the side it has your user name and then a rank... like member, young senior member, senior member, administrator... how do you get those?? who determines it and such? jw....

The more you post, the higher your rank gets. I'm pretty certain it just goes up to Very Senior Member and then you can make your own.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it goes something like:
80 posts= Member
180 posts= Senior Member
280 posts= Very Senior Member

I took me less than a month to get to Very Senior Member.

Nah, those numbers aren't right... see, I'm a very senior member, with only 276 (now 277) posts. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's 30 posts to get to Member, unless Rich has changed it recently. And maybe 100 to get to senior member? Not sure on that one...

Hmmm, well I must be wrong then but I can definately remember the number eighty.

All the other forums I've seen / used I've been able to change it in the profile ... but then again I'm a newbie here ...

You can change it after you have been a member for 30 days.

30 posts = member
100 posts = senior member
etc.

You only get to be a "Senior Hillbilly Member" if you have the correct number of posts AND the number of coonhounds under your porch is equal to or greater than the number of corns in your rack system!

:D
