How long before they are adult size

I was just wondering how quickly corns grow. My corn is about 7weeks old now and is just having its first shed with me. Indi is doing really well and eating without any problem. I would like to know how long before they reach full adult size?

Maria:)

Cornsnakes can reach adult size in about 18 mths...Although the average is around 2-3 yrs before reaching adult size...

Once you get into a regular shed cycle, this question will be easier to answer. If you snake is shedding every 4-5 weeks it is growing at an average rate. The rest of the answer will depend on your feeding habits and the gentics of the snake. I tend to lean more toward the 2-3 year mark. Even though your corn might reach its genetically pre-disposed length in 18-24 months, the animal *usually* continues to fill out for another six months or so. Think of this in human terms: Most teenage boys reach their final height ~20 years. HOWEVER, must of us continue to "fill out" for a few more years (or decades). ;)

I had a early summer 03' hatchling that I'm feeding 3-4 pinks every 3-5 days and she is on a 2.25 week shedding schedule...

She just eats and eats and eats and is unbelieveably HUGE! I've never seen nor thought a snake could grow so fast.

Probably going to tone it down soon but she ends up eating the "leftovers" that my other stock won't finish.

What an eater.

Thanks guys

Thanks for that, I only feed him once a week, and really haven't a clue how I would know he was hungry and needed more like that but hes happy right now. :D
