For a cornsnake to shed? I got dexter a repti cave about a week ago and I noticed he'd gone blue a little before that. I mist it daily and make sure it is always nice and damp but he still has not shed despite the fact that he stays in it almost constantly. Should I move it to the warmer side of the tank? Does that make a difference? He ate as usual on Monday I'm just worried. I want to make sure his shed is complete and has no problems. Thanks!
 
should I worry if it has been longer? The humidity in his humid hide is pretty high but he's still "blue" Not really blue since he's amel but he's still pale.
 
Some just take longer to go through their cycle. Right now I'm waiting on one of my blood babies to shed. I think the anticipation of waiting for a particular snake to get some new digs makes it seem like it's taking longer. :rolleyes:
