How long does she have to suffer???

Cheesecake is on antibiotics every other day for 10 doses. She is not showing any signs of improvement, but today was only dose 2.
I'm not even sure if she got the first dose down all the way; her little mouth is so tiny, sometimes while trying to get the medicine dropper in there some of the medicine spills.
Also today I got it in fine but some of it leaked out of the side of her mouth. :(
She is on like .06 mg every other day. :(
I feel awful. Is there anything I can do for my poor baby? Her tail doesn't appear to be getting worse but it is certainly not better. No on has any idea what is going on. The breeder said it is the oddest thing he has ever seen--her scales are just disappearing and being replaced with these rough white/gray/black patches. It's terrible. :(
Any advice? I don't want her to suffer. :(
Please help.
To get the medicine in, FYI, I use a credit card and poke it at the side of her mouth; once she opens I stick the dropper in above the card, pull the card out and push the dropper in further, then dispense it. Is that good??? It was the only thing I could think of. :/

I don't have any advice to offer, but I just wanted you to know how sorry I am that you and Cheesecake have to go through this. Keep up your spirits; it's only day 2. There's still hope for her to get better.

The mouth-opening technique is exactly what I'd do, so don't worry about that.

The condition really does sound odd, almost like some kind of fungal or auto-immune condition. But you're really doing all you can. It's obviously foxing your local experts and folks here - normally there'd be someone on here who's seen something similar, but it seems that this is a new problem for to community.

I took new photos. I'm trying not to bother her much, it seems like it hurts so bad.
I feel awful.

Sorry Shellie, those pics are still too out of focus to be able to really make anything out. If your camera has a macro setting (usually a picture of a flower on a control dial or menu) then try using that. It will allow the camera to focus on objects that are closer than it would normally deal with. At the moment, the camera is focussing on the background and not the snake.

Well, I would just keep giving the antibiotics as directed. If a little spills out it is not too much of a big deal because it sounds like she is getting most of it. Give it at least another 2 treatments with the antibiotic to see if she starts to feel better. Letting her rest and trying not to bother her too much sounds like a good idea.

Don't let yourself get to discouraged you are probably not going to see much of a change until after a few sheds.
