How long should I wait before feeding?

I just got my corn about an hour ago and it was feed a hopper 5 days ago. How long should I wait to feed it? Thanks.

Wait at least 5 days. In that time do not handle it or bother it, it will be stressed out from the travel to your home, the new home and new surroundings. It will not starve it will be fine waiting. Just make sure to have fresh clean water in the viv, change it every 3-4 days.

Then on day 5 offer a meal about 1/2 the size of what it would normally be able to eat as you generally want the first meal to be a small one. Put the snake back in the viv after feeding and do not handle for at least 48 hrs.

At that point you may handle for 5-10 min a day every couple of days until next feeding day(which should be 5 days after the last feed). Feed a normal sized meal and wait at least 48 hrs before handling. Remember healthy corns live 15-25 yrs so you have lots of time for handling and visiting. You do not want to stress your snake out and have it not eat or regurgitate.
