I've done a lot of research, but I just wanted some opinions on my specific case.
I have a pretty small Snow corn snake, she is only about 12-13 inches long, and isn't very wide at all. I picked her up on Thursday night, and I haven't handled her at all since then. Every night so far she has been SUPER active, exploring every inch of the tank and doing a little digging. Not very active during the day, but I know that is how snakes are supposed to be. I was wondering if I should try feeding tonight? Putting her in a separate container so she doesn't ingest substrate, and giving her a F/T pinkie. Is it too soon to do so?
I have heard that I shouldn't handle until my snake is acclimated to the new tank, and to do so after the first feeding session has ended. (48 hours after feeding)
So should I feed my snake tonight?
And
When should I handle? Could I do so tonight, or wait even longer until past the feeding?
Thanks so much,
J.BaX
