How Many Holes in a Bin?

I have just recently purchased a baby corn snake and am eagerly awaiting for his arrival; in the meanwhile I have been prepping his home.

I am using a 15 qt bin and have melted a row of holes around the entire bin. I think there are a total of around 16-18. Is this enough to ensure adequate airflow? Can a snake suffocate if not enough holes are made?
