How my corn eats...

ZiGGy903

One Snake Wonder
I know everyone else feeds their corns in bowls or boxes with tongs...
But i feed my corn in his tank, without tongs... i just move his head over the pinky...
Is that an acceptable way of feeding him? Or do i need to change his habit??

Using a "feeding bin" assures that your snake isn't ingesting substrate that could lead to impaction and major vet bills. It also allows us time to clean the viv and change water without having a snake in the way.

Others claim that feeding in the viv makes the snake more nippy because they expect to be fed every time the viv is opened.

Either way it's completely up to you. Both methods have been done successfully for many years.

Ive started feeding him every tues. in a shoe box with a blanket over it so he cant get out and so he feels safer eating is that ok?

i have not found it yet and thanks for the tip...
u said something about the weight of the snake for the schedule...would a simple food scale that weighs in grams?

The Munson Plan is more of a suggestion than anything...you can tweak it either way to make it more comfortable for yourself.

They aren't telling you to change the day or anything, since that's totally up to you. Personally, when I got my Eris they were feeding him on Sundays, I changed his day to mondays... :) Just double the amount you feed him next time..if you want to follow the plan, that is. It's totally up to the owner.
