My corn is 5 months old, and I've only had her 2 months and she's shed once, about 4 weeks ago, I feed her one pinkie once a week, although I'm thinking of going up to a fuzzy, from peoples experience how often would you say your snake shed, and what about when you move up to a fuzzy?. P.s while I'm here can anyone tell me when you move up to fuzzys is it still once a week? thanks

As Susan said, hatchlings usually shed about once a month or so. It all depends on the growth rate of your corn. A snake that is growing quickly will shed more often, say every three weeks. Also, a snake that is having problems with their skin will shed continuously until the problem is close to being healed.

For a guideline of how often to feed, you can refer to the Munson Plan, which is stickied on Dean's (Roy Munson's) personal forum. Usually when your on pinkies you want to feed every 4-5 days, I think once your on fuzzies you should aim for every 5-6 days (I could be wrong on that though). Anyways, if your not feeding often enough that could explain the lack of growth, and therefore the lack of shed.

Good luck!
