Hi all !
I have two 30 gallons terrarium that I use aspen .
I change it about every month or so .
I clean out their poop every time I see it and maintain pretty well .
So ,for those who use aspen, how often do you change your shavings ?
Thanks

Two to three months...depending on how quickly it get ""dirty" from water being spilled on it. I do clean the poop out so it not from that.

Every 3-4 weeks... pending on the spillage as Lenny said. But my cages are a little smaller than 30 gallons.

Once a month or even longer. I use Aspen Sani Chips, and they clump almost like cat litter. So spot cleaning is a breeze.

I use 32 qt tubs at the moment in a rack system.

I agree with the majority. I spot clean daily, but I only do a full change ever 2-3 months, or if it starts to smell funny.. This is in the big cages however. The little tubs require far more frequent cleanings.

My enclosures are just a bit bigger than a 40 gallon and I usually wait about 2 months to do a full clean up. I spot clean as needed.
