Hi,
I can se that my corn is about to shed any day now.
Should i leave him alone now until he is done? :shrugs:

it is best to leave your snakes alone while they are in shed because some get aggressive when you take them out of their hides. just make sure the humidity in the tank is fine and he'll shed fine on his own. good luck :)

They often feel vulnerable during the period of shedding since they are unable to see as well and this is why more aggression may be observed. Giving them the peace to shed is a good option to take.

I was talking to a lady who has a large collection of snakes, and she had pulled out her female corn snake who was in shed at the time. I went to touch the snake and she told me to becareful because she said that if I rubbed the snake the wrong way while it is in shed it can cause blistering under neath the shed.

I found it odd because I have never heard of that. Is this true?

Hi Krenna
The picture of your snake under your name, what type of corn is it. I have the same but she's still a baby and just want to know what type of corn she is? Thanks
