Since I dont have a "Dark Room" Would it be ok to just tape black cardboard paper on it? Will this suffocate the snakes? or should I just put a towel or something over their cage.

Oh, and I guess I do have a dark room, but I would need to air it out like the WHOLE time they are in there because there is a strong almost overwhelming smell of something or another in there... almost like mold :(

Should I just not bother with that and just put something over the cages?

Please clarify what you're trying to do. If you're talking about brumating them, a moldy place is the LAST place you'll want them. Mold affects them just as much as it affects people, but snakes only have 1 lung to work with. For brumation, if you're going to have them in a room that stays a bit cooler, draping a dark sheet over the tanks should be fine.

Im sorry, yes I was talking about brumating them lol. Ok, so I wont put them in the mold closet of doom... Would something like my bedroom closet work?
My mom likes to keep the house at like 68 degrees... :(
