Ok, i have two female mice that look pregnant, and one big male. i'm only wanting pinks, how do i take them away? just take them as soon as i see them?

When the pinkies are the size you like, push mom off them and take what you want.

I usually try to leave at least a couple pups~ I've heard various reasons for it~ I've also heard it's not necessary.

Culling pinks

I just take them all when they are the size I need. Sometimes if I am wanting more breeders I take out just the ones I don't want. I don't like the red eyed mice so those always are the first to go! I've found that if I want to raise a few up to leave at least three or it seems the mother's milk supply runs dry. They do better if there are at least three or more left, one or two usually don't fare as well. But most of the time they are all just snake food! :grin01:
