Oil Field Trash
I got an albino corn snake about a month ago from Petsmart. No clue on the age but I think she's about 11 inches long. I work in the oil field down here near Laredo and wanted a companion (because I am alone in a FEMA trailer) that i can leave alone for 16 hours a day and its no problem. I live in Tyler Texas about 450 miles from where I work but I'm here in Encinal for about 4 weeks and home for only a few days. My snake, Ruby, is a sweetheart. I honestly dont know if she's a boy or girl but I think she's a she. She has no problem making the trip home with me. I like this site and I have already got some questions answered. I'll post some pictures sometime soon.

Howdy!!

Another fellow Texan here and welcome to the website! Yep, that looks like a Snow Corn to me! Welcome to the addiction!:grin01::grin01:

Todd

thanks. Im at exit 39 on IH35 bout an hour and a half or so from SA. bout 20 minutes from Laredo. Nice city, but too big.

She is a beauty for sure. Congrats on your new pet. Corn snakes should come with a warning label though..." can become addictive."

thanks. haha my girl flipped out on just one. and then she really freaked out when she found out she's gonna be around for a while.

One thing about corns that small is that everyone will fall in love with her eventually! My mam hated snakes but she did grow to love my little one! :)

Welcome from another Texan! And the little ones are really endearing - too small to be frightening, pretty easy to handle, and the colors are beautiful.

I have never been scared of snakes but never wanted one either. It wasn't until I got into a relationship with somebody who had one that I started to like them. 2 years later we have 2 adults and 3 babies and I cant wait to have more :D
