Hey yall! I'm new to the forum, so I thought I'd post an introduction!

My name is Ej, and my son has two corn snakes (I have pythons). He's had 4.5 ft-ish "Honey" since earlier this year, and this weekend we added in little "Rosie." I've never been much of a colubrid person myself, but I have come to adore these two! I'm mostly just here to read and learn, and maybe chime in here and there - probably, though, most of my posts will be pictures! Thanks for having me :)

hi there. my name is Michelle and I am new here as well. I have 3 corn snakes. I am a new snake mama so I joined here to learn and meet like minded people as well. considering a ball python as well but enjoying the corn snakes so far.

mine are a blood red pied male, lava female and a black motley male. I have been enjoying the hobby this far. I love my snakes, they all have very distinct personalities.

Hi Michelle! Nice to "meet" you :)

I actually posted in another section of the forum, asking for opinions on the morph of Rosie... Honey is an anery motley. They DO have unique personalities, and it is wonderful getting to know them!

I saw the pics. Beautiful :). Being new I am not certain, but I believ that is what they would be lacking the black pigment. I ordered my lava and black motley from BHB reptiles. I am so excited I get to visit the facility on Oct 1st. I like them because of the knowledge, care, customer service of the breeder. I got my blood red pied from a local breeder here and no complaints thus far. Nice "meeting" you as well. I hope someone can give you an answer...

Thank you :) The babies sure are cute, and have attitude! Haha. I'm not overly concerned with what morphs they are... I just think it's fun to learn new stuff!

I agree. :) they really are fascinating creatures. I picked up a book about corn snakes and I do research online. as far as breeding I do not have plans to attempt it all due to the fact that I worry enough over every little thing with them..lol. I know I could not handle the extra stress of breeding.. Kenna is my diva, Ramses I call mr macho cause he is tiny and mighty and Draco is my mellow surfer dude :)

I plan to try my hand at breeding, just to provide myself with more snakes... I am not going to get into crazy morph breeding lol Honey is SO active, but he's also so tolerant... He's never offered to strike or even be annoyed, including at feeding time. Rosie is new to us and hasn't had much handling previous, but she's a feisty little thing - for a corn. Her feistiness doesn't compare to my female blood python! Lol

Hello! I've had my baby for 2 ish years, but I'm brand new to the site as well.
