Humidity

So if u all dont mind... where do u all keep ur humidity at???? and if there is to much humidity in the tank how can u decrease it and keep it down?? i know a heat lamp will suck it out...

i leave in PA and the humidity is normal OK for them and i have only had 2 bad sheds. one was when i first got it and the second was when i switch to aspen, it has less then my Eco-earth did. so i would just wait for a shed if it was bad mist more often if not it should be fine as long as you don't keep the cage wet to the touch.

I keep my humidity between 40 and 60, usually aiming for 45 to 50 except during shed, in which case I would raise it a bit more. The size and location of the water dish, misting, covering, all affect humidity. to increase humidity: put a larger water dish on the hot side and cover part of the top with something to maintain the humidity, to reduce humidity: place a smaller water dish on the cold side, maintain as much air circulation as possible, and a heat lamp will help.

kewl, thanks u 2..... right now i got to corns.... and with out anything ontop of the cage, no lamp, descent size water on the cool side..... its reading 55-60 and my ghost has had 2 perfect sheds since i've had him..
